On a drop bar mtb. Only place on the bar to mount anything is 31.8mm and can only find 25.4mm lockout levers.
No one else ever tried?
Ignore, re read the question.
Use a bar-end shifter as a lockout lever?
Probably not the best ergonomics, but a handlebar accessory mount like this might work..?
Given everything else in MTB is moving to gravel, it looks like you are about 3 months early for a solution.
Not a dig, but everything seems to be moving over at speed, so it won't be too long before there are many options available to you.
There’s some interesting discussion of the options here (including a 31.8mm mount):

Dropper levers wont work as they dont lock. Bar end shifter could be a good solution though.
Depending on the cable pull needed by the fork would a drop bar front shifter work?
Yes. But changing levers would be expensive. Good odea though; I've heard of people doing the same with front flat bar shifters.Depending on the cable pull needed by the fork would a drop bar front shifter work?
