Currently have a 2014 Cdf really loving the type of riding this bike has opened up to me, I would like to get something better equipped.
Preferences are
1. Steel with carbon fork
2. Rack and mudguard compatible
3. Able to take up to 40mm tyres or at least 35mm
4. 10/11 Speed.

Suggestions appreciated

Watching with interest. Have a chunk of change burning in my pocket that must be spent before the Mrs realises we have it.....

I'm currently considering selling my Salsa Horsethief as it has had 1 19km ride in months and is a beautiful ornament at present!

Something custom?
CdF has got to be up there for an off the shelf steel bike as it is.

You won't save a great deal on another steel frame, even if it's a superior material. Why not get lighter wheels etc... if you already like the CdF

teadrinker beat me to it, would definitely be hankering after the RLT 9 if I could justify it.

no way is that RLT worth 1500 quid for frame and forks

Mason Definition? more road than cx but Josh Ibbett rode one for the Dirty Reiver with 35mm Schwalbe G-One tyres

Volagi Viaje XL

Ticks all your boxes and is as beautiful as hell.

That's the one getting my pension fund money. Although I would say a CX bike is not the same as a gravel bike. But perhaps that's me splitting hairs.

Feel the same way about that Niner, £1500 for frame is a lot, the Volagi is gorgeous but couldn't justify it. Kite looks very nice but don't know much about them.

Jamis Renegade Exploit (631 frame) or Expat (520 frame) tick those boxes...

Anyone got a kite that can give an honest opinion? Re weight, tyre clearance etc
