Don't need it for the car, just want a bike bag for frame only that can just sit in spare room and when done riding bring it down stairs, put bike in, take It up stairs with no mud / oil trailing

Not to dear as it's not needed for transport, and something relatively wipe clean easy too

Don't need wheels to fit in but will not be taking pedals off nor unclamping the bars (although they can go in sideways in line with frame)

Cheers

I got an Avenir one from Evans for just over £70. I used it to air freight my bike (had it's own sort tin!) but would fit the bill relatively cheaply.

Otherwise buy an old (damaged) sail off eBay and get it sewn into a Basic bag.

Cheers that's a bit too flimsy , looking at the duff bag it's good, but been thinking id be better with something with a rigid ish type base? Is there anything out there like that sub 100?

Miketeroid - that avenir one looks interesting, would I be able to get a 27.5 large bike in just to sit in it? Without removing pedals/ bars obviously don't need to zip it up as it will just be used in house as storage to carry up and down stairs etc

Mike in a ideal world that's would be great (what I'm currently doing)

But sadly the bike comes in from night rides filthy and don't have time to clean it etc, it needs sometimes to go straight into a bag or similar where no trace of mud/grease etc can escape

Hi, I am from duffbag, to answer your question we only sell direct, we are the designer and manufacturer of the duffbag products and keep the prices low by cutting out the middleman and only selling online. Hope that helps, if i can help further feel free to ask 🙂

Duffbag (but the zips are a bit shonky!)

We have fairly recently (Autumn last year) changed manufacturer of our bags and supplier of zips to YKK. We have also beefed up the reinforcing of the bags and made them larger to take wider bars. Our current bags are an evolution and improvement of the original design due to great feedback both positive and negative like that above from Splashdown and other users of our products.
