What's wrong with the Lapierre? Only ask because I'm in the same market as you..

Btw Orange Five is the obvious (but tempting) answer.

Marin quad 140 if you're more worried about the downs than the ups. They're heavy but the geometry is amazing.

These are a fantastic deal right now and a superb machine. If you like a more progressive and aggressive trail bike then maybe this could work for you. They go up like a homesick angel and down like a mini DH bike and a 30lb build is do-able or sun that if you go for a small/med frame.

Nice

I have an Orange 5 frame (and fork if required for sale, 16", 2010 model, chrome grey, mint condition.

Can't go far wrong with that, im only selling as im upgrading to a bigger hitting bike. I test rode a few bikes and the Orange felt the best, climbs well and decends like a thing that's good at decending, corners superb and is easy to jump and land.

At the risk if sounding biased, it is an outstanding bike, and my frame is like new, comes with Hope headset, Hope bb, Hope seat skewer and rear wheel skewer, all in blue.

Pace RC405, I chose one after testing quite a few alternatives. Mojo is nice too though.
