I seem to have the weakest thumbs in the universe, so cant use the SRAM type chain joiners, so I am looking for a chain with the more traditional link.

1/8"

Shiny if possible.

What do you recommend?

Thanks

Am I really the only person that can't get on with these joiner thingys?

if they are clean they should just slide between thumb and finger. - dead easy

roll the actually link in one hand rather than trying to squash the adjoining links inwards towards the splitter.

if that makes sense?

I rate SRAM PC1 nickel plated jobs

I hate KMC510 chains - made of rubber I think the amount they stretch each ride.

oh, and the connector link jobs - sooo easy to split. can be a bit trickier after a lot of wear, but a wiggle at the same time as trying to seperate works wonders.

Just got a linky thing and fitted last night. It's my new favourite thing, and the best way to spend 2 quid I have ever come across. Genius. Of course if it goes wrong when I go out for a ride tonight it will henceforth be sh!t and officially the worst thing EVER. Firm but fair, that's my motto.
🙂
