Hello been 29er curious for somewhile and want to try one out for

touring bike
some xc/mtb trails general meadering
commuting

so at 5ft 11/6ft i think a 29er would be intresting for a change, usual bike s are 6 inch travel machines including yeti asr 7/turners rfx and mavericks, so can people recommend a frame/bike, especially size, not adversed to second hand in matter of fact maybe best option

So far on my short list is

swift...popular well regarded and steel
scandal...cheaper and seems okay
lurcher....light and intresting
surly...karate monkey

anything else

or a
69er singular but would 20 be too big

thanks

Surly Karate Monkey ...(but I'm biased )
Swift is also a good bet
Buy second hand and enjoy a cheap do it all 29er.....

Kingdom Double9? Send chris@kingdombike.com an email and he'll probably let you have the UK demo bike for a while.

Get a 18" Scandal or even just a frame and build it yourself to your budget! You'll love it!
