nobby nic 29ers and some rocket ron 29ers for more whizzy duties. At last lovely rubber for big hoops.

Other than that I'm reducing the bike collection again 😥

Er, I'm in the process of turning my old fixie into a SS cross bike (yes, I know - nichecore to the max).

I've recently bought:

*FSA Vero drop bars
*Stem - cheaop from Decathlon
*Tyres - 2 x pairs (Schwalbe CX Pro + cheap Smallblock 8s)
*SS chainring in 40t and 130bcd fitting - thanks SJS Cycles!
*quill to ahead stem adaptor (Spa Cycles - useful for such trinkets)

Not exactly glamorous, I know, but still a good hundred quid's worth....

Well since STW forum bivvy ride Dec 4th / 5th from Machynlleth. I have suffered serious 'gear envy'.

Not something I'm too bad with normally but after gaffer tapeing a bit of foam mat onto my Karrimat I went and bought one of these :

[img] [/img]

And since I got the 'p' taken out of me for having 2nd hand jacket that leaked. I treated myself to one of these.

Last significant purchase was a SpokeShirts light in late September & bought a new KMC chain a few weeks ago, but not got round to cleaning off the storage grease & fitting it yet......

Bought this after nearly turning for home on Tuesday's ride. I never needed one in the UK. I do here, and the winter proper isn't even here yet 🙁
