Becoming more and more disillusioned with the one I have been using. No bad episodes to speak of, just don't have the stock/tools to do what I want them to do. Mainly looking for a place with a good mechanic and obscure tools on hand for older road bikes which I seem to becoming increasingly obsessed with. Anybody know of nirvana?

Try Royles in Wilmslow. Very experienced and friendly mechanics/staff. have used them for a couple of years now and would highly recommend them. If your near Hazel Grove, try the Bicycle Smithy on the A6. John and his staff are all dedicated riders and always manage a fast turn-around when i've broken something and need the bike in a hurry!

Cycle Centre in Congleton. Decent Royles mechanics now work there.

Second Jon at the 'bicycle smithy'.

'Royles' are good too, but not the same since Ben left.
