I stuck your name in the subject as you seem to be a bit of a guru where Reba forks are confirmed and have a question you might be able to help out on....

I mentioned on here a while back about my Reba Teams leaking a small quantity of oil from the U-Turn adjuster. TFT reckon that the original o-ring is too small and they use a larger one when the fork is serviced to reduce the leakage. But, I can't afford to have them serviced at the mo. The nice guy at TFT explained that I should do a 50hr service on the fork and replace the oil......but looking at the fork, I don't see how the oil in the lower leg can escape from the u-turn adjuster?
I assumed that the leak was resulting from the small quantity of oil in the uppers to lubricate the air seal?? The service manual reckons it is only 6ml of oil in there though.....

Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is TFT chap correct and I should do a lower leg service?
If I am correct, can I just let all air out of the fork, take of the u-turn adjuster and pour a teaspoon (5ml) of oil back in? Or is it more complicated than this?

The forks are reba air team u-turns, if that matters....
