SM - i have ordered bird netting. My rasps are getting pillaged! in front of my face. PLUS the fox poos on my lawn every night. He visits daily which is great but the smell.... !

1.am p'x/ing my anthem x2 for a lovely charge duster mid bike (i'm not mad honest ๐Ÿ˜‰ 2.have just downloaded the elder scrolls daggerfall (free and legitimately) in readiness for skyrim (by the gods/by the nine ๐Ÿ˜‰ and will be starting to play it tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜€ here is a comedy clip of said game (well i found it funny ๐Ÿ˜€

thebikechain appreciate your reply.the reason i am changing (well swapping bikes) is partly down to cost of servicing.also when winter/bad weather comes to wiltshire,the ridgeway,marlbrough downs can get very gloopy (chalk/clay).but the main reason is that i have wanted to go back to a steel ht for a long time (i used to have a lovely 1992 marin eldridge grade bike that i absolutely loved).just basically want to simplify things to be honest.

1. Yesterday evening I rode up a big pile of rocks I've never managed to clean before. I now know I can (theoretically) ride my favourite local uphill dab free without taking any of the cheating chicken lines.
2. Sod it, I'm going to have another beer before bedtime.

1. It's pub night on Thursday - if the weather stays OK that will mean beers on the beach 8)

2. I'm off to France for a fortnight on Sunday - will be the first holiday when all the family is able to cycle together ๐Ÿ˜€

2. Only snapping 1 tyre lever and piercing 2 tubes fitting a dual-ply 2.35 high roller onto a 719 rim...(tonights "cheerful" activity!)

1. 4 day week this week, 2 day week next week
2. Mrs seems fine with my suggestion that my retro racer is a bit big for me and am allowed to purchase a new one.
3. Despite three months off the bike / not running fitness has been awesome this past week
4. Work is getting very busy again (construction) which is always good
5. Captainflashhearts Dad beat cancer
