Anyone recommend any? Think I’ve had my moneys worth out of my current ones

Over literally just ordered a pair of DHB Blok bib shorts off CRC (wiggle) for £26. They're in their sale, good range of sizes/colours in stock.

My Galibier bibs are really nice fit, pad and very reasonable price for the quality.

How's dhb sizing these days? I normally hover between L and XL but needed XXL in dhb bibs from a couple of years ago.

If you're feeling extra stingy then completing this Strava challenge will give an extra 10% off DHB stuff - even if it's in the sale : https://www.strava.com/challenges/dhb-12-Days-of-Christmas

I had a pair of DHB winter tights a year or so ago. They started falling to bits within weeks. Lussos or Galibier are much betterer quality. BTW, what sort of budget? I got some nice Castelli bib shorts from Wiggle a couple of months ago for ~£60 a pair. They are amongst the best I've had including the fabled Assos etc.

I've got a pair of Madison bibs in medium which fit well but are a little short, so have gone for a large in the DHB bibs.

Galibier for value, Castelli for the best seat pads and fit (I'm skinny). None of my Castelli stuff (and CHPT3 which was made by Castelli and used their pads) have been bought at full price.

My DHB's from CRC came today, for 25 quid they're a bargain. Fit well, long enough for me at 6ft 3in and 85kg, and the pad seems decent.

Will give them a try out tomorrow and probably order another pair or 2.

To back up the first pair when they start falling to bits next week 😛

YMMV

More to counter the usual case where an old but dependable item wears out and you discover that they're no longer available (or, worse, changed and no longer as good)

@belugabob Aye that is irritating isn't it? I've stockpiled nearly as much clothing as high end 9 speed to cover off the imminent apocalypse...

I took the plunge on my first pair of Castelli bibs in September, £75 for the Endurance 3, almost twice what I've previously paid for other bibs. The pad is amazing (writing as someone who often suffers saddle discomfort), so much so I bought a pair of Free Aero Race 4 around Black Friday, in the next size up for £88.

Still at promo prices now at https://www.merlincycles.com/cycling-bib-shorts-75343/?sort=bestseller&brand=castelli

@boblo - yes, and it would be interesting to know how many lost sales result from such terminations/changes.
