Current Maxle *thru axle* has the following: Length:175mm, Thread Length: 18mm, Thread Pitch: M12*P1.5
Looking at a new Maxle that has the following: Length: 178mm, Thread Length: 18mm, Thread Pitch: M12*P1.75
Would this work? The M12 is the diameter, what is the P1.5 ? (guessing it's thread width). Would a P1.75 cause any issues ?

They are different thread pitches so 1.75 won’t fit 1.5
