Hi just built up my solaris with mavic ride and a schwalbe rapid rob 2.1 on the rear and although fits ok doesn't look like I'd get a bigger size in.... Anyone use a bigger tyre on there solaris
2.8 on mine 🙂 ok that's on a 650b rim so doesn't count. Nobby nic 29x2.25 fitted just fine though.
2.2 at the back of mine.
2.3 purg on an arc 27 rim on the back of my mk2. Fits fine.

Roverpig- which 2.8 on what width rim?
I've just made an expensive error with a rocket Ron 3.0 on 35mm rim. Does it fit? Does it fark.
If anyone wants it- it's unused other than having 2 scoops of stans in it.
Mccraque - the 2.8 should fit. I'm running 2.8 nob by nic on 30 MM. rim. 2.3 tyres when rim is 29".

I bought the wheels from Cotic, so I could be sure that they'd work. So, they are WTB Asym rims; i29 on the rear and i35 on the front. AS far as I know the number refers to the internal width in mm.
