You pay an entry fee, then you get 'tokens' in return and hand these in for a beer at 2 points along the course (or you can have soup if you don't fancy beer)

Not coming this year. Will be on route back from San Diego :-(.

It is a top event.

I always manage to acquire a lot of extra tokens as people head away. Last year I must have had ~ 8 pints at the finish. The England / Oz rugby match was a bit of a blur ๐Ÿ™‚

The mosh pit in the beer tent was awesome last year. Old men who really should know better ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm there. Did it last year in the filth and loved it. The route isn't that exciting, but it's the beer, company, atmosphere, pubs, laff that makes it the highlight of my year! If you find a good B&B, book it for the following year this year. I guarantee you will want to do it again. [url=

Judging by the weather forecast for Llanwrytd Wells I think the wobble should be canceled & substituted with the bog-snorkling event

The forecast is irrelevant - it will be very wet, slippy and boggy.

Not there this year but the circus act of the guy up the ladder in the mosh pit trying to electrocute himself was pretty special last year.

It's a real laugh and a relaxed 2 days riding and drinking!
