right then,
i've been told by bob jackson cycles that i can't have a raw metal finish on my aluminium frame because without paint the laquer won't stick, and without laquer the frame will oxidise.
now i know there are people out there with unfinished (raw) frames.
so how have you gone about it?
is your frame showing signs of oxidisation?

i had a frame polished and then lacquered and all the lacquer cracked and fell off. i guess that if its really well polished than yes it wont work or you'll need a better lacquer than they can provide.
oxidising isn't that bad really.

Afaik 7075 oxidises easily 6061 does not
