Got a Zaskar expert 2007 and was thinking of going raw!!
But not 100% sure yet.
Has anyone gone raw and regretted it

Nope,done it to two of my bikes & I think it looks great......
Have a look at my topic on raw finishes. Its great. Plus if you dont like it....youve got a ready bare frame to powdercoat.
Did a Gt avalanche last autumn and am very happy with it. Frame quality is good so no need to hide it under paint. Survived the winter fine just by washing occasionally and spraying with maintenance spray (cheap wd40). So much nicer than the chipped and frankly far to colorful paint that went before.
Loving Raw... so easy to live with. No nicks, no scratches, no cable rub... the most stress-free 'paint' finish I've ever had.
