Hi all,

Two questions I guess.
I have a nice shiny new mmmbop, its stickers and some helicopter tape from biketart.

I have never applied heli tape before but from their website the wet method looks pretty easy.

So the Qs.
1) For the ragley stickers do I put them on dry and rub out any bubbles or do they go on wet as well. I guess I then leave them to dry on the frame.

2) as for the heli tape is the wet method the best ? and can heli tape be put on wet on top of the ragley stickers ?

is that 3 Qs ?

wet?

the stickers are sticky, you put them on, and they stick.

they're proper transfers, you peel the white backing off, leaving the sticker attached to the clear sheet, which you hold onto while you apply the sticker, then you peel of the clear top sheet.

Not head of the wet application method before. Given the vid on the biketart site is demonstrating with an Mmmmbop, why not just copy that? There putting the tape on over the decals.

TBH, certainly for the small bits, I'd just stick it on dry decals and helicopter tape.

Mine went on fine dry.

If you get some bubbles have a needle to hand to make a small hole to let the air out. Maybe I was just a bit impatient but I got quite a few.

Tape over the top is fine as well,

Put decals & helicopter-tape on. Then warm them with a hairdrier.

Dont know about anybody else, but when I put heli tape over my decals, it has left a very small gap at the decal edge, over the last 6 months water and dirt has got in and now the decals are edged in sh!t, which is nice!
