Bump. My earlier post seems to have been cut short โ“

Went OTB on the Black Run at Antur Stiniog between Christmas and New Year 2013 ๐Ÿ™ and smashed my radius into bits, resulting in radial head replacement!!

Was amazed at how many people have had similar injury from all different walks of life. Was just wondering if anyone had any stories/ advise with regards to recovery, exercises etc.

Many thanks

Broke mine in Tenerife in March.. only recent been able to bear much weight on the arm (sprained wrist too I think) and it's rather wonky still.

First physio appointment today and got some new stretches to try...

Buy a Powerball. Similar injury and after two years of pain the Powerball fixed things within a month. Much better than physio IMHO.

I'm really pleased with how things are healing up, but wondered if I need to be doing anything more!?!

Been signed back on for light duties for over a month now, and although I haven't got the strength I had before I am now at 175 degrees extension. Rotation is limited in the wrist, but that is due to a basketball injury I sustained when I was younger.

I bought a hand cycle machine to extend my range of motion during the healing process and whilst it was painful at times the doctor says the results are fantastic.

Flapper on - What does the powerball do exactly please ???
