Do I need a race licence or just in insurance for mega avalanche I bought British cycling silver last time but not sure if I was ever asked for it cheers
Did you pay extra for the multi sports assurance? If so no license or doctors note is required.
Yes when entering i ticked box for insurance
I get the assurance to get round the doctors note. The BC insurance doesn't cover the mega I checked last year, it's not UCI sanctioned hence the lack of cover.
I have a silver race license due to bmx racing, however it turns out I don't even need that for that, just membership.
Not that I'd recommend it but you can print the doctors form off and fill it in yourself 🙂 (my back up plan if I'd misunderstood the website last year).
