Anyone swapped their caliper split pins out for R-clips ?
I was thinking how much of a pain it could be if i throw a pad when out on my Shimano 445's, split pin to secure pads, thought it would be a lot easier to get some R-clips ?
Any thoughts ?

these are the ones that go through the caliper body and pads?
Not sure, as it can come out unlike the split pin. At least on the XT775 ones the pin also screws in as well as having an R clip.
