Are all Sram rear mech's 1:1 ratio?
I need to replace an old x5 model 2009/2010 and wondered if I could stick a Shimano on? the shifters are x5 or x3, can't remember

All numbered ones yes, so you need a new SRAM (9 speed) one, Shimano won't work.
