Quick question for the matlock locals…
Can you access hurker woods / farley woods via this track, through the thin strip of woodland shown as ‘Goodwin wood’?

Is there any way down from Farley road through Clarkes plantation, to come out by the reservoirs at Two dales? Thought I saw the bottom end of a trail at the weekend, but didn't have time to go up it.

No 1. Yes. Felling has been undertaken in the Farley Moor/Woods area in the last year so beware.
No 2. Don't think so, but have not tried.

1. I think I've seen the top end of the first trail. Does it come out at a clearing on the edge of the woods, where a broken down wall is? Yep, I noticed all the felling at the end of last year.
2. Theres an entrance into sydnope / clarke plantation through a gap in the hedge on farley road. Just not got round to exploring it yet... looks like its fairly well used though.
