Anyone recommend a quick 1 hour ride in Headley, Surrey?

Dropping my daughter off at a party at the Nower Wood Resevre and will have about an hour to do it. I'm weak so a quick blast really is just that - I can't do a butch '1 hour' ride!

Thanks

Stane Street to Box Hill; past the Smith & Western, cut back via Headley Heath / Secret Singletrack.

I would head east across the golf course and head for the sportsman pub at mogador. Then over the M25. As long as you have a big view in front of you turn right and follow the superb single track. Eventually the track will go up or down . Take the up option to your right go across the road take the track opposite and you are back at Headley tea hut.

Ever so slighly less muddy my way Zippykona 🙂 May be a tad longer mind - although there are some fast bits to make up for the additional length. You could always just do a tour of Headley Heath itself - one clockwise, one counter. The Pyramids are a good enough challenge taken both ways. Whichever way, it's a pretty crappy day to be on the North Downs - either that or I've got miserablitis due to having a cold.

Guess by now you've either done it, or gone to the pub. Where did you go? What was it like?

Thanks for the suggestions

Ended up - as you guessed - just pootling round Headley Heath and Mickleham down. Not been round there before but was great - suspect even better if it's not ludicrously muddy. Just nice to get out and ride!
