I bought a used set of these from eBay in Jan and got round to fitting them yesterday after completely rebuilding my bike. No surprises, I've been ripped off. Described as being used on 3 rides, I knew that was bollocks when they arrived as the pads were completely worn 😏
Front was shocking so bled it and thought I might as well do the rear too. Both the torx screw on the lever and the 4mm bleeding edge port are completely rounded and done up really tight. I reckon the seller has tried bleeding them himself and ****ed it up, so sold them under the guise of "I'm upgrading" I've tried all the usual things to get them undone, but not had any luck. I think the torx screw in the lever could be drilled out maybe, but my question is...can the bleeding edge port be replaced? It's a moving part after all. Or am I gonna have to replace the whole lot?
(Not from crap people sell on eBay and marketplace. The only two used things I bought for this build were both knackered. Lesson learned!

The answer is yes but good luck finding the caliper parts kit currently! Can you nit unscrew the torx bolt at all? Partially drilling then using an easy out will probably work as long as you don't damage the threads.

Just found something on bikecomponents.de I just need to double check I've found the correct parts
Can't get either of them undone. I'm thinking the bleed port on the caliper could be done if I heat up the allen key so it expands?
The torx screw on the lever is completely buggered. Even more so now I've been at it with oversized torx bits and screwdrivers and a hammer 🤪 maybe superglueing a torx bit would do the trick

Apologies if this is stating the obvious but are both torx screws on the lever buggered? There's one on top and one on the underside of the lever.
