I was thinking of building a second pair of wheels with these hubs and some old rims for road duties.
any experience? I have used quando cup/ cone before which were ok ish but fancy these for 37 quid
Quando will be a different make so ignore that for a start!
To be fair, a cartridge bearing hub is only as good as the bearings in it. I'd imagine the ones fitted will be cheap and not last long but replace them with some decent ones when they go and you'll be fine
Then there's just the free hub to worry about. I doubt you'll get spares but at those prices you could buy another hub and swap it over and they'd still be cheaper than anything else out there.
I doubt they'll be any less reliable than a Pro 2 to be fair.
