I'm planning to take my bike down do QECP for the first time tomorrow, is there anything particular that I ought to know or look out for?

The turning on the left and slip road can approach quite quickly and can be tight on full opposite lock.
Also slippy leaves at this time of year

Take it easy on the descents it will be slippy. Plus take a spare tyre if you are running schwalbes.

Was there today. Surprisingly good conditions. The odd puddle and a few slippy bits on the leaves. All in all its holding up really well considering the recent weather.
Do the Blue and the Red, the Blue has some lovely singletrack on it and is a bit more armoured so a good warm up.
