Bikeparts.co.uk, ordered from them on the 2nd dec, took 10days to arrive. Helmet was faulty, sent back as requested then heard nothing. Tried chasing, just get a passive aggressive response from them.

I won’t be using them ever again, asked for an approximate eta for replacement and they refuse to answer.

Yeah, bikeparts are normally great but currently taking an age to dispatch.

Just bought some new tyres from there over the black friday period, price was good but I'm glad I wasn't in a rush!

Einhell cordless tools on Amazon, some are discounted 40% or more, https://www.amazon.co.uk

I can't post a specific link for some reason

The email reply at bikeparts is just an AI bot. I had an issue after Black Friday and once I’d asked for the email to be sent to a human they dealt with the issue very quickly.

bikeparts.co.uk generally is excellent service and assume they just got swamped with Black Friday orders.

Does anyone know if the Einhell tools are compatible with either Bosch or Worx batteries?

To be fair I have always found them very good to use in the past however on this occasion the communication was very poor.

Saw this a few days ago. The podium's aren't in stock anywhere and the Chill is extremely limited (my nearest is 150 miles away)

RaceFace stuff back at silly low prices on SportPursuit. The clothes/gloves are mostly only in small, but seems to be lots of protective gear available

I just went to log in to Spotify on the browser to see how much audiobook top-up hours cost  (as I've just found out that there is a limit of 15hrs on audio books...I didn't even realise they weren't podcasts!) and it's offering 4 months of premium for Nada.  And seeing as they now do lossless, you can now try it for fweeee.

Expires end of December.

Endura have (another) sale on with 30% off across a wide range of products (different ones to the 50% off sale a few weeks ago). And with the MIAS2025 additional discount code you get another 30% off - so anything in sale will be 51% off.

This thread is always handy for random finds and deals. Between checking kit prices and waiting on dispatch updates, it’s nice to have something light to switch off with. When I’m killing a few minutes between rides or orders, I sometimes play quick browser stuff  since there’s no setup and it loads fast. Little distractions like that make the waiting easier.

Nice bot.

some good deals on Vittoria tyres at Bannana Industries. Just ordered a Martello enduro 29 x 2.35 for £20. Lots of other options like mazza and moto 2.4 and 2.6’s.

never used them before but thought it was worth a punt at £20 for a cheap tyre to use on the rear.

Only stumbled upon them when looking for tyres for the gravel/commuter as they filter as 700c tyres so don’t show up if you filter to 29’s.

Mazza is great tyre. Bit like a Butcher but not quite as sticky. I haven't tried the Enduro casing, I had the Trail on the front of my Rise until it got to Hillbilly weather.

I'm thinking of trying a Martello on the back once things dry out a bit.

I bought a Mota to see what's that's like. I'm guessing it's the Hillbilly equivalent.

I wish they had some 27.5s! It ain't dead yet

I think the race versions are 1 very soft compound rather than the normal 4 differing.

I saw 1 review which seemed to suggest the multi compound was better due to the firmer base and that the race versions didn’t last long at all.

it was from a while ago though.

Yeah, Race is a single (soft) compound. The Graphene 4C is 4 compounds. Firm base with softer rubber for the centre and more softer on the shoulders.

Bit like Maxxis 3c but there's 4 of them.

Enduro is the casing. They do XC, Trail and Enduro. Trail feels similar to Specialized Grid Trail or Maxxis EXO+.

If we look at the Mazza, 29x2.4 is 1100g in Trail 1345g in Enduro and Race.

Although the weight is the same. The Race and Enduro are layered differently. The puncture protection stripes are different.

Lots of pretty pictures on the website that explain it better

Just a confirm the 15-hour limit is on premium... I like to listen to audiobooks as I run and so I tend to run out about the 11th of the month and then have to wait until my subscription resets. Sadly there is no higher subscription tier and they keep on constantly asking me to top up my listening hours. I probably should swap across to audible or something similar but I do like to listen to music as well

Check your local library... Ours has a decent selection of audiobooks via app. Possibly not as good as Spotify, I dunno.

112 links so too short for many but a bargain if long enough.  In fact you could pair two together and it would still be a decent price
