Rimpact Chain Damper, reduced from £280 to £150: https://www.rimpactmtb.com/product-page/rimpact-chain-damper-alloy-crank-only

Been eyeing up one of these or an O-Chain for a while, this just tipped me over 😀

Can I ask what is the point in the chain damper?  What does it do?

Reduces /removes interaction between chain forces and suspension on rough downhill. Makes your suspension work better and reduces/removes chain noise

The b-stock deal is only for a few cranks but the normal price is also down to £190

I've bought the b stock one ('cus I'm a pauper with alloy cranks) What's the betting they could be dremmeled down if I ever do get some carbon cranks? I bet it'd be reyt.

B-stock deal for me too. No danger of carbon cranks for me - I'm sticking mine on a £20 Deore crank I got in a PSA a while back. I've been curious about a chain damper for a while but cost always put me off for something that might be minimal effect, but happy to give it a try at this. Going on my G1 which is mainly big winch n plummet days.

Not specifically biking but I'm sure useful to many.

Screwfix is giving out £10 off codes. Can't share it as it's user specific. As far as I can tell it's from the app only. Install the app, turn on offers, wait 10 minutes then go into offers and you should have a code to cut and paste. It's £10 off anything over £10 (or multiple items in a basket) ie get something for £11 for £1. Says you can only use it once but you should be able to use it twice on separate orders.

Thanks for the heads up on those tyres at Banana industries, those Mota's literally transformed my riding experience, and i can't remember the last time i have had a truly enjoyable ride in the slop. Surrey hill steep stuff was perfectly manageable, and fun, all under control. Literal game changer... Didn't seem particularly slow on the long Pedally trails like secret Santa supernova etc

i've got Vittoria on my road bike also, i think they may be my go-to brand now..

Sportandleisure.com are pretty good for bargains - but this Sugoi jacket (women's, all sizes) for £10... rrp £120! Waterproof too. Have used Sugoi jackets for years commuting cos they're v good.

Shimano 105 11 spd STI and hydro calipers bit of a bargain too at £220. Just after I splash out on new GRX  😏

If you're prepared to gamble with customs (I've yet to pay any on an order from Anrancee) and wait a month you can have 12 spd 105 for £178 or 12 spd grx for £193.

^ I've always assumed that anything branded on AliExpress is fake.

I'm not sure how it's worth faking brifters. I've had a full 105 groupset and GRX brifters from the seller and it all appeared genuine and works perfectly. It's definitely OEM stock though and not everything they sell is much cheaper than here.

FOX DHX Performance 2 Position Adjustable Shock - 205 x 65 Trunnion

£250 at sport and leisure with code BCR10

Looking for a replacement to the fox air shock on the orbea as its blown seals and needs to get fixed under warranty so thought this was a good price for a coil shock

Think the code will work with anything on the site.

Full disclosure: This my wife's brand but these are amazingly good and a bit of a bargain at this price.

There's 3 for 2 on snack and sandwich bags at NomNomKids at the moment - 3for2 Monster Snack and Sandwich bags

They're really great for kids - big or small. I use them all the time for taking snacks to work or out on the bike.

These are really smart! I use something similar for carrying sauces when camping, but it doesn't have the side-opening which makes them a real pain to clean properly. Filling is similarly difficult...

I'm going to bookmark these for when the weather warms up a smidge!
