Good discounts on OneUp, www.uk.oneupcomponents.com the V1 bars are particularly good value, I believe the later V2 version is the same but beefed up for the downhill standards and hence more expensive.

Sorry, my ability to copy and paste links has left me, if anyone else can do it?

I not got a digital pressure gauge, so don't know, sorry. They're just like a presta valve without the unscrewy bit, so have been fine with all the pumps I've used (Lidl, Joe Blow and Lezyne)

I use a Topeak Smart D2 digital gauge before all rides and it'd be a PITA if that wasn't possible.

If I remember later on I’ll try that combo out and report back. Rarely use my Topeak gauge as it lies through its teeth

If Microspline suits, there are still some of the Ghost C26 carbon wheelsets available (~1500g) for £400.

Thanks both. I've since found a Reddit chat that suggests the combo works fine.

Before I order some Fillmore Valves, does anyone know if they'll work with an Airshot? My tiny brain can't workout how you'd get the head to screw into the Fillmore.

yes, they do.  The airshot end screws onto the valve stem.

really happy with my fill mores - have them across all of our mountain bikes now.  The only issue I've had is that you need to be careful with the valve caps.  they can come loose - we had one shake off on an uplift/or in transit somewhere.

Lovely thanks, I've just done a bit of Googling and I never realised that the 'valve core adaptor' came off so you can screw over the valve rather than into it. I've only had it 6-7 years!

Off to order some, thanks @scruff

or Merlin doing big reductions on Cannondale xc wheels (they've a 3mm offset in rear specfic to cannondale frames but I just adjusted that out (didn't actually check that it's OK to do so but ASSUMED it was well within the inbuilt margin of spoke insertion 🤠 😬 )

@a11y   the design of the Fillmore valves changed as the V1 version with a tapered top didn't work well with everything ( I have V1 Fillmore's that don't work with my OneUp pump), the V2 are threaded all the way to the top and play nicely.

Send them a message explaining, Reserve (Santa Cruz) are pretty good with warranty etc so would hopefully see you right.

Looks like a rubber loop to hook round the bars and onto the attached mount to me.

Does it come with a battery even?

And battery in the pouch?  (which looks flimsy)

the light? the battery is in the small pouch, the rubber bar mounts will be in the bag.

I had a planet x version a little while back. they're OK. certainly for a tenner it's pretty decent.

Looks the same as the plazma ones that on one/planet x used to sell. Rubber band hooks the light onto the bar, and the battery is in the black pouch. Not the brightest, but two of those on your bars would work well for a cheap alternative!

same here and their T&Cs don’t state what the criteria for being included in the sale is.

Don’t think the bikeinn thing has started yet.

copied from their website under the BF page

Get ahead of everyone and secure your favorite products. Get ready for an incredible discount.

How does it work?
1. Explore and choose now: Browse our stores and fill your cart with everything you love.
2. Wait for the big day: The price you see now is the price without the discount. The best is yet to come!
3. Apply your coupon: During Black Friday week, come back to our website, find the exclusive coupon in the footer (the bottom part of the site), and apply it to your cart to see the final price.

code worked for me and gave discount, except on the one product which had a 'not eligible' note

but:

Black Week (Kickoff Deals): Friday, November 21, 2025
We kick off the celebration with our Black Week. Starting this day, we’ll launch early deals on a selection of top products. It’s the perfect opportunity to get ahead of the crowd and secure those high-demand items before they sell out.

Black Friday (The Big Day): Friday, November 28, 2025
This is the main event, when we reveal our most spectacular discounts of the year. Expect unbeatable prices on the latest tech, fashion, home essentials, and more. The savings you’ve been waiting for are here.

Cyber Monday (The Online Grand Finale): Monday, December 1, 2025
We close our week of deals with Cyber Monday—the ultimate day for online shopping.

that's really annoying.  I'm going to look back in a week and see if theres enough extra saving to be worth buying these things again and sending the first purchases back.  Unlikely given what I bought.

I'm not sure that Rapha code makes many things cheaper than they were in their sale a few weeks ago. Appears they've pulled the now fairly widespread practice of just raising prices in advance of a BF code or similar.
For example the Trail.pants were half price a few pages back and the only ones left with discount are in more limited sizes.

£20 Fox shorts (delivered). I got two and they are genuine. The usual Fox small sizing. I am 32 or 33 in jeans and had to go for 36. The tracking works well too. All legit.

Have you used any of the Rapha MTB clothing? I have found the stuff I've used great, pricing not bad in the sales and no higher than other premium brands.

Still lots of their MTB stuff on sport pursuit with good discounts.
