^ I have. Nothing to write home about. And comparing discounted price to discounted price still twice as much.

Sorry to hear whatever bits you tried didn't work for you, you are the first person I've found with that experience.

Not sure its fair to say the price is double similar quality on any of the MTB stuff though.

Back on topic, anyone seen any good deals on enduro/uplift worthy 27.5 rear tyres? Something with a decent tread and casing. Currently running a Big Betty Supergravity, be good to get a comparable replacement at a reasonable price.

On both your points, was wearing Rapha trail Infinium jacket and gore tex trousers today in biblical rain and finished the day warm and dry. All the Rapha Trail stuff ive had has been streets ahead of Endura, Altura and the rest.

Onto tyres, I've just replaced by Betty/Mary combo with Pirelli Scorpion S. Various versions cheap either at Tredz, Banana industries and possibly others.

Used my gore lupra 2.0 jacket from the PSA last week for the first time today and it was superb. 3 hours in constant rain and had no seepage and ran cooler than any other waterproof I've used.

Just bought one of the lupra jackets, £150 with an additional discount for signing up to the mailing list. Seems a bit odd to offer that when you are actually shutting down production but I'm not complaining 😂

I have one of the last trail running shakedry jackets, which I also managed to combine discounts on which is fantastic but wanted something a bit brighter for riding as I'll be on roads at times

what is the fit like on this, looking at the sizing I sit on the cusp of large and X-LARGE.

DJI power 2000 are £799 on the DJI website store at the moment. Good price for external power.  Power 1000 V2 also on offer, sub £500.

Don’t think the bikeinn thing has started yet.

copied from their website under the BF page

Get ahead of everyone and secure your favorite products. Get ready for an incredible discount.

How does it work?
1. Explore and choose now: Browse our stores and fill your cart with everything you love.
2. Wait for the big day: The price you see now is the price without the discount. The best is yet to come!
3. Apply your coupon: During Black Friday week, come back to our website, find the exclusive coupon in the footer (the bottom part of the site), and apply it to your cart to see the final price.

From their Facebook: We are sorry but this promo code cannot be used in combination with any other promotional code, CoiNNs or discount. Certain products are also excluded from promo codes. Please consult validity by adding any item into your shopping basket.

So pretty much a waste of time.

https://www.gorewear.com/en-uk/lupra-20-gore-tex-hooded-jacket-mens-101103?variant=16729

I've just returned a Lupra 2.0 jacket as the sizing appeared way off compared to previous Gore jackets I've had/still have. Normally XXL in Gore, I even tried the original Lupra jacket in XXL and it was fine, but the Lupra 2.0 was huge. Lovely jacket though.

I'm hoping for a bigger discount on the Rapha Trail Goretex jacket as it's still steep at £220. Looks like Sportpursuit had them in the past at £145. Their Lightweight Trail jacket I bought in a sale last year is the best-fitting jacket I've ever had, still not cheap but good value for money IMO (at reduced prices at least).

I didn't say it didn't work. There is nothing inherently wrong with the stuff. It's just twice the price like for like (discounted Vs discounted) for no advantage. The Rapha trail shorts are OK, just no better than the Fox, Leatt, 100% and Sweet Protection shorts I bought for either half of a third of the price. The delta is similar on the tops.

The Ghost Carbon wheels which have been mentioned on here a few times (and which I have been running problem-free for the last 12months on my Cube 144) are down to £300 a pair - only microspline available now unfortunately.

^ I know something's only a bargain if you actually need it, but it's mighty tempting to buy a pair of those Ghost wheels as spares...

There'a also RSP trail/all-mountain carbon wheel sets for £250/pr - 29er or 27.5, HG or XD, but non-Boost:

IF, like me, you're still one of the reducing number of 27.5 luddites, you can get the boost version for £335, XD and HG hubs:

Sticking with the wheels theme,

Hunt have a 10% off everything code (FASTER10) which works on already discounted stuff.

Brings a set of Trailwide wheels down to £270 which is crazy cheap.

Work hydroshot complete kit £80 at worx. £20 cheaper than amazon although the one at amazon has an extra battery.

https://uk.worx.com/hydroshot-kit-20v-24-bar-cordless-pressure-cleaner-kit-x1-2-0ah-battery-charger-accessories-included-wg620e-2/

Or for not too much more you can get the more powerful worx hydroshot for £114 from amazon. Can't add a link as it doesn't work

@DaveyBoyWonder I bought set of the V1 bars (posted about it up above), they are lighter than the V2 which I think are beefed up to meet the higher downhill/stunt standards.

I went for my first ride today with the new bars and they were even more comfortable than the lighter Shimano Pro they replaced - that I already thought were comfy!

Mine had some nice subtle logos as part of the carbon so I could have saved money on the decal pack - white sticker pack anyone?

TAG carbon 35mm bars at Tredz for £60 (55 with the usual discount code)

They're not really in the same league as the OneUp bars for comfort but they're fairly light and have a decent rise on them.

If you'd prefer alloy, I've got some Renthal Fatbars with a 60mm rise that I don't like. One ride old...

Regatta clothing, including these highly recommended Geo trousers: https://www.regatta.com/mens-geo-ii-softshell-walking-trousers/

I’m know these have been recommended on here before as I bought some then but this code AFRGMSE17 gives an extra 17% on top of the Black Friday deductions (code expires midnight Friday 28th November)

Cheers for the Regatta code. My missus had picked some things from there for chrimbo so that's just saved me a few quid.

Just seen that premium subscription the OS maps app is back to half price. £17.50 for the year.

I'm not 100% but from past PSAs on here, it looks like you can stack it on top of your existing sub. Ie, pay the £17.50 and it extends your subscription by 12 months which delays the full price renewal on expiry.

Id have done that like last year but T&Cs arent looking promising for existing subscribers:

50% off OS Maps

Offer is for new subscribers only. Valid only on first year of an annual subscription.
Subscription renewal will be at full price. Recurring payment can be cancelled at any time.
Cannot be used with any other offer or promotion. Ordnance Survey reserves the right to change or end the offer at any time.
Offer ends Tuesday 2nd December 10am.

Just done mine, stacked perfectly fine with my existing sub. I had recently just cancelled the renewal awaiting an offer like this but my premium sub was still valid until December 25 so very much a current customer. Now subscribed until December 26.

Mailed them today - v3 of the cranks is coming so 2 to 3 months away 🙁 I've got a bike to build so may have to plump for normal XTs. Shame as I love the Unites on my other bike.

Any bargains on Enduro/big lad suitable 29" Microspline wheels? Waiting on a response from Bird on the DT Swiss EX1700, failing that looking at DT Swiss E1900.

Could go with Hunt Trail but I'm about 115kg and not 100% confident in them.

If they still have the EX1700 wheelsets half price, just buy them and source a spare freehub?

Then you'll know you've got the best in the biz for a very reasonable price still.

Think it was linked a few pages back but the Reserve alloy wheels are cheap at the minute. Had 29" options when I was looking - only reason I didn't go for them was I wanted mircospline and mullet in the HD model and they only had XD I think...
