How do these size up? Im 36" waist but stocky legs and wonder if xl may be a wise choice
I'm 36 in waist and XL are spot on for the waist . I'm 6 foot 1/ 33 inch inside leg, trousers are a good fit on me length wise..
Same height and inside leg as me. That's great, thanks

Thank you, case of red wine ordered!
Likewise. Case of Primativo ordered, just in time as the summer French raid stock is about depleted!
Perfect timing for that Laithwaites PSA!
For the Laithwaites PSA don't forget to check your bank cashback offers - my HFX account has a 10% cashback offer. TopCashBack has 8.5% too.. stack away!
You can usually get more off too by setting it up as a subscription and then cancelling after the first dispatch.

Yep, I used the subscription offer and will be cancelling when my wine arrives today!
Not looking for me, but if anyone's looking for a lightish e-bike then Pivot Shuttle SL reduced to £4k at RM Cycles from £9.5k: https://www.rmcycles.co.uk/bikes/mountain-bikes/pivot-shuttle-sl-ride-slxxt-large-desert-sage-green-2025__24761
GRX 600 chainsets at Merlin for £59.99. Cheaper than buying replacement chainrings.
5000km on mine and they are slipping like crazy.
Annoyingly, they were selling them for ,£20 less a few monthss ago - about 2 months after I bought a set for this price! Still a pretty good deal though.

Didn’t work on the electric screwdriver I fancied
I'd contact worx as they have the 25% image on all the screwdrivers.
Niner RLT gravel bikes at half price. The 853 steel frame and fork is usually £1499, the complete bikes are currently cheaper! Can’t speak for the alloy, but the steel is lovely to ride.

Not sure what they are like but seems a good price. £17.45
Amazon have the 56bar Worx Hydroshot kit with battery/charger for £120 at the moment, so about £30 cheaper than direct with the code.

Those pedals are okay- prefer my SS Nano, but worth it on your, not best bike, if the colour suits or as an emergency spare set to leave in the car/ van in case you turn up at BPW and need to pay RRP for a pair when your normal ones shit themselves inexplicably.
For extra few quid these pedals are good if you are on the budget. Good size platform and enough grip. I run them on one of my bikes and have already ordered spare pair.

Would have bought if I still had a gravel bike.
ok i have held off on this, but just took a gamble on a Raymon ebike, Pauls have them back in stock
Raymon TrailRay 170 Pro 29 Electric Mountain Bike Tangerine/Black
pro and standard model, the standard model looked to be lacking in a few areas for me
I also had in my watch list a couple of orange ebikes, both 27.5's but had planned to mullet
Orange Charger S 27.5 Electric Bike - Electric MTB Bikes - Electric Bikes - Bikes
This looks like a lot of ebike for £3k
You'd be lucky to get more than a couple of hours power from that though, surely?
You'd be lucky to get more than a couple of hours power from that though, surely?
If you ride everywhere in full power then yeah maybe.
But it's max 55nM from the motor so 400wH battery will get you a decent ride if you're prepared to put some effort in.
I can happily do 30 miles with 4'k of climbing and still finish with 30% of a 540wH battery on my Rise. That would be a mix of eco (20nM) and trail (38nM).
Yeh, depends how you rinse it. I’ve got the same motor/battery on my Canyon. Did 48km/715m climbing last time (very muddy and I had the lurgy), and 38km/940m with 19% left the time before.
I picked up a RE for a good price on an eBay discount promotion so have 650wh when heading off for the day.
20% off Showers Pass Elite Jacket, unfortunately bought mine at full price a couple of weeks back. Great if your spending a day in the pissing rain.
Hopefully there will be some decent black Friday deals on phones this year. There was an awesome deal on the Google pixel 8A last year and so I'm hoping they'll be something similar this year so I can upgrade my sons 🙂
Google themselves have already released their black Friday deals and as typical they are absolutely not worth having a look at being around 5% discount maximum on anything...
If anyone works for a phone company it has new prior knowledge my DMS are open 🙂
If you are big or small then sx drivetrain aside this looks great

Google are doing £200 off the Pixel 10 range from the 12th + 5% via a code. Not great compared to what has been available.
Will be interesting to see if Google do any additional trade in value over black friday, they were offering £200 extra a couple of weeks ago.
Giff Gaff currently have £500 off the Pixel 10 Pro at £579 Google Pixel 10 Pro | Pay Monthly or Buy Now | giffgaff which looks like a much better deal
Probably the best value "budget" Android phone ATM without having to resort to the bloatware/adware brigade. £136 delivered.
Regatta are having a sale 😀 use SINGLE11 (might need to sign-in/become a member to see the full discount), there trousers are down from £70 (yeah I know), but have been £40 all week (I need some new ones), down to £20's...
Further reductions on Fustle stuff
I just grabbed a Causeway GR1 frameset for £475 via their BF sale and a code from a guy on YouTube. The code was "connormc" for a £25 discount. (FAO mods, I have no affiliation with that code, I got it from the guys youtube page)

Amazon Haul has £11 off anything with code LUCKY11 for er....1.5 more hours.
For some reason they have Park Tools so if you're missing something from your collection, or want to buy a spangly tool for the price of a normal one, fill your boots
That fustle is a bargain (I have one and very happy at £799 or whatever it was I paid). Lovely company to deal with as well
XT 11sp LinkGlide setup (shifter, cassette, mech) £150-160* plus another £10-20 for chain of your choice:
Shifter, XT 11sp SL-M8130, eBay £29.99
Cassette, 11sp 11-50t CS-LX700-11, Sport & Leisure, £69.99 (* I snagged a cassette at £60 elsewhere but now OOS)
Mech, XT 11sp RD-M8130, Paul Milne Cycles, £59.99
Can use any 11sp chain so I didn't include that in the above cost - it doesn't have to be LinkGlide-specific, but there is the 124-link CN-LG500 for £12 from Sport & Leisure
Appears good value to me. Shifter/mech/cassette for the same cost as the SRAM XG-1275 cassette I'm currently burning through on my ebike and should be more durable.

I've been swithering over a Pixel 9a. Has been at £349 but with the 5% and a slight hike in trade-in (my screen's cracked) its down to £249.
BUT... I want to resist and see how long my knackered phone will last - that's free, unless it gives up right after the sales.
