+1 on thanks for the Evoc hip pack, loving mine so far.
Halfords have 1L of Stans for £26 order online and collect in store.
gentle reminder that the thread benefits the forum only if you post up a link from which users can click through to the site and buy 🙂
Tredz have a load of raceface stuff, ie Carbon bars reduced right now, example:
Race Face Next 20mm Riser Handlebar | Tredz Bikes
Not a bad deal but 760 will be narrow for some
I ordered one of the Evoc hip packs (through Biketarts eBay store, as I had £15 eBay credit, so only cost £16 of real money 😁).
Comfiest waistband on a hip pack I've ever used 👍
Anyone know any deals on tyres?
Looking for 29 x 2.35/2.4ish, mid rolling and grip trail tyres such as Nobby Nic, Forekaster or similar.
If they were tanwalls, even better...
So we are doing your Google search for you .
This is for deals that may benefit others .
Says lightheartedly but through gritted teeth 🙂
As we know, Google search is dominated by custom results, pay per advert and website with resources to o play the algorithm. STW seems to regularly come up with deals I wouldn't see, often if someone has bought something themselves. I wasn't asking for a Google search.
Oh well.
Our 🍌 friends have 2.4 Nobby Nics for £15, if it’s the right compound Lovely rubber (for £15 who cares 😁)
There are some good tyre deals here (including Nobby Nick) including some Vittorias and other brands that might suit -
Matt_OutandAbout, was it you who likes the Contintental Terra Hardpacks like I do? They're doing these at £20 each as well (they don't come in retail boxes but otherwise seem exactly the same).
-- Edit --
Sorry, I didn't see that Banana Industries had already been highlighted.
Looks good for the price

Yes. I've worn through one set and onto my second set from 🍌🏭. They are supple, roll well on road and hard pack, seems to corner well/chemical grip, and I have not punctured them yet. They are noticeably faster than my SmallBlock8's or WTB Nana's. They of course surf around on mud or dust, but I'm 90% roads and forest tracks so take that trade off. Better feel than the full touring tyres I've used like Continental Top Contact or Schwalbe Marathons.
I'm intrigued to try the Continental Overland at some point for similar use.
I just wish that they'd do a decent range of sizes rather than just 2". They're great on my Swift but too big for my gravel bike, if they did 700x40 I'd be using those too.
Their new Terra Competition tyre seems to be exciting people but it's quite pricey & doesn't go up to 2" (not sure of the durability either at present).
Looks good for the price
I was looking at that yesterday, it looks a great deal.
From another thread, this also looks a steal if it's the sort of bike you're after.

Only problem being that they aren't tubeless.
Ayup – I have three £50 Alpkit dividend vouchers that are expiring tomorrow (30/04) if anyone wants them, just DM me.
FAO @thisisnotaspoon can't reply in DM's as I'm a forum newb. You have spend over double the amount for the voucher to work, so £100 for a £50 voucher.
Sonder clipless platforms reduced to 29.99
Clipless Platform Pedals With Double-Sided SPD Clips
looks like a bargain for spd curious
are the Hardpacks tubeless ?
They are but they're not retail boxed (although I can't tell them apart from the ones I've had that were).

was looking for some cheap brakes for a knockaround bike and found the Fawkes CYcles sell an entry level shimano set for £53, but you can buy front and rear "separately" for £22 an end - just add each to the basket
They also have some well-priced Clarks rotors to go with the brakes
Cheers, Pjay

These look to be very similar to the welier brand ones
I have the non platform versions in my shed. They're in my shed as after about a month, the bearings seized up. I could strip and fix, but I had a set of M540's that only needed a tweak to get them running.
I'd not buy the Welier pedals again.
Sorry wrong thread
Previous model Cotic Escapade for £1399
Only small frames left (seems to suit 5'9" and shorter).
Choose the black fork to get it for that price, £100 more for the colour matched fork. Has to be GRX 1x11 & 700c wheels to get that price as well but as a gravel curious orange Cotic fanboy this is the gateway drug I "needed" to get started.
Thanks, Matt
SLAM69 have got an extra 15% off Hope stuff.
HOPE15 at checkout, minimum order of £50.
Refurbished DJI Neo (the original one) for £95 at DJI. I've caved at that price, no doubt the quality won't be amazing but I reckon it'll be plenty enough for my playing.
No controller, but it has follow me and auto modes, and you can fly it off your phone.
xtr wireless upgrade kit 519
Shimano XTR XTR M9250 Di2 upgrade, SW-M9250 I-Spec EV, BT-DN320, EC-DN – BikeParts.co.uk
seems to be a very similar price to the XT kit atm... also looks to be a 5% discount available if you buy 2 items on offer
That Di2 upgrade is tempting. Do I need it? No. Do I need to spend extra to go 12 speed? Yes. Should I do it? No. Do I want to? Yes
i've just realised, the kit i linked is the short cage, for the 9-45 cassette
Anyone seen any 5ten Freerider Pros at a decent price anywhere please? (Size 10)
Someone must have a sale on somewhere!
Rear shocks in various but fairly common sizes, e.g. 190x45 RS Deluxe Select for £80ish delivered - may or may not face additional duties (but eBay checkout stated not). Seller is a known retailer in Germany I've used before.
Bought one as spare for my Tallboy. Nothing fancy but might stick it on for winter use to save my fancy shock.
Anyone a SJS Cycle discount code I could use?
Thank you
Swisstrax garage flooring for £99 a box (4sqM) at Costco - £148 anywhere else online, and about £179 at screwfix
workshop could do with a spruce up……
I would really, really reccomend you avoid those vented style tiles for a workshop or garage where you work on bikes (or cars). They are great for a detailing bay, but useless otherwise. Ask me how I know...
Loads of other great (solid!) PVC tiles available.
Just bought one of those Tredz Race Face Carbon Next bars - 40 squid, bargain at twice the price!!!. Many thanks for that one.
Merlin have some big savings on Continental gravel tyres.
Hard to describe a £400 watch as a bargain, but it is heavily discounted....
Largest size is cheapest currently. Mine arrived today, so all legit. Don't get excited if the EJ website offers you a 10% discount on watches, it doesn't apply to already discounted items.
Garmin's shop and H Samuels also have deals on Fenix/Epix watches currently, though they probably won't last very long as they are older models.

I got the 51mm from H Samuel a few months ago - paid a little bit more. Decent watch though. Pairs well with the Garmin nylon strap, albeit that's £125 on it's own. Also have the leather strap and the orange one
Pairs well with the Garmin nylon strap
The strap feels a bit low rent even at the discounted price so may have to look at options there. Though I thought the same when I got my Venu (Mk 1) and soon enough didn't notice it at all so will give it bit longer. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.
