Not bike related, but Uswitch are offering free electricity 8am-4pm for one of the days this early May BH (you choose sat, sun or Mon). It'll work with your existing supplier, they just monitor your usage and pay you up to £10 so that's about 30kWh to get through.

Interesting. How does that work then? As in, what's in it for them?
EVOC Hip Pack Pro E-Ride 3L (steel green only)
£29.95 at Biketart
Excellent deal. It's the 'E' version which means it has tabs for carrying for your bike charger cable. No bladder
Thanks. A few places have it around that price or a few quid less. Bought one to try for longer gravel rides where I'm currently using a small backpack.
Just bought one and a back pack through the Biketart eBay store. With the current voucher I got the 3L eRide Hip pack and 12L eRide back back for £56 delivered.
I've had numerous CamelBaks but bought an Evoc 26 from Merlin a few years back and became a convert.
Code CHEERY20 for another 20% off in the ebay shop

Mortified for a moment that I might have missed a trick the £56 is with the Cheery20 code, there are vouchers you apply that add the code in. Phew!
Garmin Edge 1040 available for £285.99 via discount portals - Blue light card/Perks at Work etc
I got one at Xmas the last time they were discounted. Very happy with it, fast unit and huge battery life, easily 40hrs+ while navigating
Interesting. How does that work then? As in, what's in it for them?
You have to sign up via their app which gives them access to your smart meter so they can then email you with stuff (which you can unsubscribe from) and send you notifications on your phone (which you can turn off). So it's cheap customer acquisition for them vs other marketing channels.
I've seen PSAs for years and understand the context but what is "PSA"?
All I can find is a test for cancer.

Public Service Announcement afaik.
Last day of the Gore sale today. I'm not sure what will happen to the stock once it closes for good as there appears to be lots left. I was hoping for a CRC style fire sale at the end but alas, still high prices
I was thinking it might end up on Sports Pursuit. I've had a lupra jacket, two pairs of running shorts, a running top and two pairs of the passion shorts are on the way. I also got a very heavily discounted shakedry running jacket when they were clearing out the last of them.
I've got a tab open and I'll keep checking through the day in case anything to good to miss comes up in the final few hours
Just be aware the Lupra jacket on Sports Pursuit is the previous version.

Sorry just realised it looked like I'd got my stuff from Sports Pursuit from my post. Just to be clear everything was directly from Gorewear
The black glidewheel goretex trousers are working out at £95 with the 30% off code. Currently £136 without the code.

Also sport pursuit - I ordered some of the camelback bottles. They are coming from Girona...how the chuff do you make a profit shipping a £5 bottle across Europe?
20% off Uberbike. Use code EGG20
They also have a buy 2 get 1 free on selected products
The problem with the uberbike discount is, if you buy 4 sets of pads like I've just done. The discount code takes you below the fee postage level of £50.
Postage is about 4 quid...which price is lower? With discount and paying postage or paying postage and no discount and go for the cheapest...
Just put enough in the basket for £50 after discount. You will always use pads
I collected mine yesterday whilst passing otherwise I would have ordered more.
Made the mistake of not having enough pads in NZ and cost us double what we normally would pay.
12 speed Deore cassette 10-51 for £40 at Banana Industries. Most places seem to be £60+

Sold out already... didn't last long at that price (or they didn't have many)
£49.70 at bikeparts.co.uk maybe next best price
Not a user of Garmin watches but presume this is a good deal, with a possible additional 10% off for newsletter sign up.

the 10% newsletter discount doesn't apply on Garmin watches.
There was a code last week which accidentally worked on this which took 18%off, but that got stopped fairly quick.
I absolutely love how the STW swear filter has changed the way I will read "smar****ch" forever.
Some good deals at Banana Industries, including:

Lots of Superstar Components stock

Anyone seen any deals on all day hydration packs - my current Camelback needs a new bladder and figure I may as well get something new and shiney and pass the Camelback (with new bladder of course!) down to the biggest mini DBW.

Have a look on Biketart, or their ebay page as they have some Evocs going cheap.
If you want a bigger sized pack, these are a good bit of kit.
On-One Growler Hydration Backpack – Planet X
if you want an ebike this seems rather cheap

Go on...whats the story?
I've just bought possibly the last EVOC Hip Pack Pro E-Ride from Biketart. What a bargain so thanks for the PSA.
It looks a lovely bit of bit and, I have to say, steel was my favourite colour too. The main pocket is just large enough to take my small D-lock too, so ideal for cafe stops.

Nothing exciting. Basically Madison refused to warranty my XC1501 as they reckoned it had been dented as it had been hit by a rock. Which of course it had been. As indeed my alu DTSwiss rims have been countless thousands of times with no problems whatsoever.
Your wheel has been rejected for a warranty replacement as this isn’t a manufacturing defect but the result of an impact (mechanical failure), either on trail or impact of another form.
More air in tyres now or inserts (buying lighter weight kit to then add more weight and faff does seem a waste)?

I wore mine for it's first outing today. Stayed put without needing to cinch it up really tight, proper bargain.
