if anyone is interested......
Woooooooooooo! I'll wait for Wiggle unless I can get 12% off at Hargroves.
Really?
I've had a few groupsets on pre-order for ages, not scheduled to arrive for several weeks yet! 😥

As Wiggle own Fisher's, the SRAM distributor, I'm guessing Wiggle can afford to give it away cheap straight away where others won't be able to.
needs a hydro disc option, however with DI2 9070 due to be refreshed, for once ill sit on my hands, although with an internal routed frame, wires are barely an issue
mboy,
Wiggle don't own Fishers. Livingbridge (were called ISIS for ages!) own both. There's a difference. They also own FatFace, Crew, Inov8 and more besides.

Quite agree...
Fortunately, so do SRAM... Prototypes have been spotted in the US, and there's pics on the net already. Don't be surprised if it gets launched inside the next 12 months!

Ok but same difference to be fair. If you own two of the 3 companies en route to the customer (importer and retailer in this case, only the manufacturer not being under the same roof), you can be even more competitive on the pricing than anybody else can...
Quite a few of my LBS seem to be posting pics on Facebook / Instagram of etap boxes arriving, most seem to suggest they have not been sold yet, so may both worth a trip given its not available cheap online just yet.
It won't be going cheap yet. There is huge demand for this and barely enough group sets to round, I've already seen some on eBay for more than RRP, my LBS has sold their initial allocation and that it could be July before they get more!
12% is my platinum discount at Wiggle, so I don't need to wait for it to be discounted in general. I promised myself a set as a redundancy present!
A whole 12%. I think being a stw subscriber gets you 10% at heaps of lbs around the place.
Guys and girls - don't buy etap if you intend to fit it onto a supersix- despite sram shipping demo supersix bikes with the etap system the failed to tell people it dosent work with a hollowgram crank - see below response.... Grrrr (yes I know early adopter, my fault ... Blah blah)
Hello Mashood,
Thank you for your message. The front derailleur braze-on tab on the Cannondale SuperSix unfortunately does not conform to our drivetrain specifications, including SRAM’s eTap frame fit specification. To help address this issue, as a courtesy we will soon be offering a shorter version limit screw set. This set will not be available until after March 1. In the interim, the current front derailleur screws can be very carefully shortened (this needs to be done by hand), but please know this will not address any potential shifting issue that arises due to the braze on being out of specification.
Please have your local bicycle dealer contact our service center in your area for more information on the arrival times for the shorter limit screw set.
Regards,
SRAM USA
