Oh my.... that's a proper substantial bit of kit..

First thoughts are.... "why the hell didn't i buy one of these ages ago" It's properly substantial !
I've been putting up with a really poor stand for 15+ years.. It was what's now a Lifeline one i think but was £50 when i bought it. The teeth on the rotation mechanism don't work as they don't sit close enought together to hold it, so as soon as you take a wheel out etc it rotates the whole bike.

Have you used it much so far? Interested in how well it holds a bike vertical for example bleeding an internally routed rear brake and tipping the bike so the master cylinder is vertically above the calliper? A tipping risk or rock solid?

Just built it in the last hour mate, so haven't even put a bike in it yet. Reviews/reports i've seen are very favourable though.

I bought a used one, it’s stable enough with my e-bike in it.

$64,000 Question...

Does it clamp the narrow section of a dropper post firmly (enough)?

Isn't the teeth adjustable on the old lifeline? I'm not near mine at the moment to check. That Park is nice though

I'm going to have a try later now i have another stand. From looking at my old one, without a bike fitted/hung the teeth seem to sit pretty flush, as soon as it's up in the stand they're a fair way away, but i've just kinda lived with it for ages. My legs don't go up and down much either as all the coating has come off. It'll be resigned to the Van as workstand for races/meetings etc. So won't be totally lost to the cause.

Yes.

No issues holding my KSL both vertical and inverted.

Garage looks a bit draughty with all those air gaps.

POssibly, but maybe helps with condensation due to ventilation ? I don't live in there 🙂

Best PSA for a while..  £180 for that stand is a brilliant deal, had one on my 'to buy' list for years but couldn't bring myself to spend £300 on it.

Thanks chaps, I can bin the crappy Amazon stand I've been using for the last few years.

Best thing about those is you know that in 5-10 years time you'll probably still be able to get spares for it, keeps them out of landfill.

Is this worth the extra £50?

Very nice but don't think I can justify it over my 23 year old kestrel that was free too

Slightly annoyingly, when Isla shut down they eBay'd all the kit. Including some workshop park stands. I've already got one, but I'm kinda gutted I didn't get a slightly newer one.

I have the Feedback stand and it is good with some nice features but also some shortcomings that are a constant irritation. I agree 100% with this guy's review of the Feedback stand and hope I find his opinion of the Park one to be equally true.

I got that Park stand recently too and I agree with everything that weeksy said. It's a fabulous bit of kit.
