Are these any good?

I need some pedals for a new hardtail I’m building up. I wanted another set of the Pembree D2A’s but I’ll happily go with the Nukeproof if they’re decent as they’re £110 cheaper!

I bought the Horizons (same but a more square cage) and yes they are good. I actually prefer the feel of Superstar Nanos underfoot, seem slightly more concave, but if I'd never tried them I couldn't say anything against the Nukeproofs.

Much prefer them to superstar and for me they’re a fair bit grippier. Only issue is the two pins that sit on the outside middle have been knocked off, and they’re the hardest to replace as I haven’t found a source / correct size, so buying a whole set of replacement pins for 2 or 4 pins is annoying

Absolute bargain. I personally don't get on with them but plenty too,

I've been spoilt with carder ten fours and everything else I try (fix plenty of mates bikes) just feels inferior

The pins do get smashed as the height of the pedals are thick then add the pins but for that price who cares

@superstu I lost some pins after the first couple of rides, quick message to Chain Reaction and they sent me a new bag. I’ve loctited mine in now as a lot of them were loose.

Scott and Blake over at [R]evolution Mountain Bike YouTube channel rated them highly in their recent flat pedal group test, well worth a punt at £34.99.

Tempting, but I keep buying pedals and non of them are as good as superstar nanos. I should just buy superstar nanos. Mind you, I love a bargain…
