Bike theft is through the roof atm. 6 large chalets complexes broken into this week, one a night basically and a professional crew, so bring good locks as some chalets dont seem to have the insurance to cover the bikes.

3yrs ago we spotted 3 lads walking between balconies trying balcony bedroom doors. It's always been rife. I've heard of a van coming over, tealeaf rider funding his time out there through nicking LAX holidaymakers bikes. After all you go out there for 10days, wait wait and no one knows the bike is hot after a week or so after the theft as everyone liknked to the bike has gone back home.
