you can get a saw at wilkinson for a quid, not sure i'd want to carry it on my bike though

Got a couple. If anyone is near an aldi, if they have any of those self inflating mats left get me a couple please and I'll reimburse including postage and be forever your forum little dog that backs you up over your shoulder all the time! 😀

I've bent every single folding spade I've tried when using them on the trail.

That was until I got a German army Surplus one. Totally bombproof. I'd recommend that anyone thinking about a folding spade go straight for something from the military. They can be a bit bigger/heavier, but the amount of extra work you can do when actually out and working is substantially more.

I bought a cheap folding shovel and managed to bend it just by looking at it
well worth spending an extra tenner
