[#624480]

I ordered from CRC 8" (203mm) discs and have just arrived (ordered Monday eve by the way)

I suddenly realised that I wanted 180mm (7")

Question is will they be too big / exert too much force/stress for the frame?

I got 8" discs to go on my Pikes - I guess that will be ok?

Reason for purchase - I am going to the Alps

if they fit, which they will, they'll be fine.

have you got the necessary adaptors for the larger rotor, though?

will it ruin the frame, probably not

8" is fine up front

but out back i seem to be in retreat, went form 8, to 7 to 6 and now contemplating 140mm for summer use with slick tires and to shed a few grams.

I've been running a 203mm rotor on my 2006 Meta 5 with no issues so far...
