Neville Chain - A life on two wheels at Stroud museum in the park.
Some of you may know him from Evesham wheelers, a touring fanatic who covered more than 1million km in his life and was touring all over the world right up to his death at 75. He lived down the road from my mum and when I was a kid would always encourage me when he saw me out on my bike. He was always giving the council a hard time about poor road surfaces. Anyways all his memorabilia, including his beloved Allin bike has been donated to the museum. So if your local or passing you might enjoy it.

I rode a few times in the 90's with Nev "Chainring" he was hell of a characture, his passing is a great loss.

In his 60's he used to gobble up miles at an unbelivable rate

Sad sad loss
