Not my find, Atlaz's. http://www.tape2go.com/2604-bike-protection-tape-p-120.html?gclid=CLWCs_iOipsCFZgU4wodiBgQnQ

75mm wide and 3m's long and almost the same price as a certain bike-related online shop huh? (i.e theirs is 10cmx2m's)

I've given up trying to use ALL on my new frame. 😀

only as cheap as biketart, they don't advertise the price inclusive of VAT, the swines!

£17.50 for 3 m of 50 mm wide, I'm off back to get some from biketart @ £12 for 2 m.

Still hardly seems 'cheap', I mean £15 for a 3m long piece of (admittedly very tough) sticky tape?

Agree with Biscuit Powered. Rip off but its looks 'prettier' than using inner tubes/etc etc 🙁

Sellotape glass repair tape, is a cheap alternative. Goes yellow after a while but its is cheap.

I can heartily recommend a company called Convertape ( www.convertape.com ), their product is the best I have found to date and compared to the above two mentions they are cheaper.

http://www.convertape.com/protection-tape-168-p.asp

What's more, they sell it by the metre and have five widths available.

I use the clear Fablon stuff from B+Q. Something like £7 for 4m, had that on for about 3 months and had no problems so far.

My mate's a helicopter engineer for the royal navy... the real stuff costs way more.

But I get it for free... 😉
