Just bought a pair of folding Conti rubber queens for under £50 (CRC want £45 each!) and got a free set of bib shorts (other gifts availible). Some good very good prices on other tyres too, Conti only though.

Correct me, but they have RQs 2.2" at £13.99 and 2.4" at £14.99 [blink]

And the new MK2's at similar prices.

Are they stolen?

There is a link on the main page that describes the process. Proceed with the basket and once you've entered your payment details you say what gift you want in a notes\comments box.

Velo Ecosse have had very good prices on Conti tyres for quite a few years now, had quite a few road tyres for significantly less than Wiggle/ CRC prices. All genuine aftermarket boxed/ labelled-up tyres too.

Ok, just had another go. I've got a pair of CONTINENTAL MOUNTAIN KING tyres for £39.95. You've got to spend at least £30.

However you have to wait until you've entered card details etc... then enter your 1st and 2nd choice of free gift in the "additional info" box. 1st Bib shorts and 2nd the Jacket. I shall be quite happy if I get one of those plus my tyres 😀

OP; nice work!

Are they definately black chili versions? Wouldn't touch standard-compound Contis with a 10 foot pole myself but the black chili RQ is pretty nice. Not worth the RRP but worth it for this much.

They've got the new Mountain King too I see.

They are the folding model. http://www.conti-tyres.co.uk/conticycle/ti%20rubberqueen.shtml says that they folding version is black chili.

Don't think that these are the black Chili versions, I think that these are the 2011 models which come in folding bead with the standard compound where as the 2010 folding models do have Black Chili. So if you're after the Black Chili model, get the one that actually says Black Chili.

The cheap ones are the folding NON BLACK CHILLI versions. I like the look of the new MKii's though.....

I've just had a call from Velo Ecosse and they have confirmed that they are the non-chili versions (I think they've seen this thread 😆 ) and they have given me a stonkingly good deal on Black Chili versions so i'm more than happy. If anyone else is interested give the shop a call and ask for Owen.
