If anyone missed out on the goggles I will have an orange pair for sale when I get back from skiing next week. I bought them for this trip but didn't seem 'right' for skiing.

£20 posted if anyone wants them.

@Ewan
My order confirmation says
Shimano Ultegra CS-6800 Cassette 11s 11-32T
Item no. 000000000000100429
£23.95
Quantity: 1
Total: £23.95

I'll see what happens when they finally deliver them. If they charge differently they have broken the law. They are however entitled to say cancel the order without taking payment. Considering others have had their deliveries that would be a very odd.

yes that's exactly what i got initially, but they've now sent me a second email with a PDF inside it. Inside the PDF it says 35.95 (UKP).

Hopefully the Canyon chap will get back to me, and everyone else should probably check their bank statements to see what they actually got charged. It wasn't called out in the email they'd increased the price - I don't normally bother reading order confirmations, let alone PDFs embedded within them.

I was charged what was quoted, that was before they've put all the prices up by some what! I also remember the Ultrega cassettes being £23 as I deliberated but decided against as I already had a spare.

Glad ordered when I did.

Isnt there's VAT added onto the website price at checkout?

your buying from within the EU so no additional vat is charged.

Has money left anyone's account? I might have paid on the credit card I've forgotten the online banking password for, but probably not, so it doesn't look like they've taken the payment yet.

Giro Helmet and Uvex 611 glasses are brilliant by the way.

Mine turned up in a mess too the contents inside was all over the place, although the actual box was intact.

They missed 2 boxes of energy gels so had them delivered seperatly. They sent the wrong ones.

I can't be bothered anymore.

Latest reply from Canyon...

There was an issue with the currency conversion on our website hence the different prices you were quoted, but this has since been amended and we can not honour the lower prices I'm afraid. Please let us know how you wish to proceed?

Not sure how you mess up a currency conversion like that! It's the wrong way around. I assume there's nothing I can do here other than not buy anything from Canyon again!

So do you think the super-low prices were a mistake?

That's not good Ewan, I'm not holding much hope for mine now considering many others have received their goods despite ordering after me.
I've got 2 Canyon bikes and would have another.

I pointed out the price difference between the Uk and europe site early on. I put my money on the vat algorithm beiing wrong, Brexit advnced by a programmer error.

To be completely honest at the time I didn't. I've bought XT cassettes for the same price from Rose before and both of the last two helemets I ordered (both Giro Hexs) I paid 35 quid for in sales.

If they had stuck things up £3.55 or something then I wouldn't be so annoyed as it'd clearly be a pricing error and i'd be chancing my arm.

The latest from Canyon:

As far as I can see on the thread supplied your situation is not applicable to anyone else as they have ordered different products that had no mistakes on the prices. Unlike yours where the prices for each item were mistakenly advertised.

I've obviously replied to provide the example of the cassettes, pointed out the other thread and copied in their CEO on the off chance that they care about what people say about their brand.

They certainly don't seem to be doing themselves any favours on the PR front.

Between the delays in customers receiving bikes, delays in receiving invoices for bikes received a year ago and now some customers getting unauthorised extra payments taken from their bank for goods bought in the recent sale, Canyon are doing a good job at scaring away future customers!

Their Dude looks great for example, but is a factory outlet Dude going to cost me the advertised ~£1200, or will I have ~£1440 taken from my bank? 😆

I wasn't considering a purchase, but I'll certainly point people to this thread if they ask about Canyon bikes

Well finally some positive news following my last email - they've agreed to honour the original cost. Fair play for them backing down and doing the right thing in the end.

No such luck for me. Here's a link to my other thread for future reference to anyone thinking of placing an order.

Is anyone else still waiting for their order? When I did a live chat with them a few weeks ago they said the delivery would be this week but still nothing.

Just to balance some of the bad experiences on here late last year I got a Strive CF 9.0 Race from the factory outlet, ordered it on a Friday evening, was delivered the following Wednesday, all well and good
The next Friday was Black Friday and they knocked another 20% off the price, I went on live chat and suggested I was going to return my bike bought last week and repurchase at the lower Black Friday price, they just refunded me the difference no questions asked, the money was back in bank account another 3 days later
£4.5k bike for £2.8k, I was very happy, it rides great, is well made, much better quality than the Commencals I had previously and I've nothing but good experiences from Canyon
