Other than smaller sizes (up to 8) they just look like any other Sleuth to me.

Sports Direct haters, look away https://www.sportsdirect.com/adidas-sleuth-deluxe-womens-trainers-275465#colcode=27546503

Swallowed my pride at that price. My son is just getting back into his bikes so this is a timely PSA, albeit he got some new 510s a couple of months back.

Good to have a back up pair that are slightly bigger...

Thanks @andy5390

I've just ordered a pair, gone up half a size as my other Sleuths came up on the small size

Are they actually stealth rubber soles? Doesn’t look like it and doesn’t mention it.

They are Stealth® Marathon rubber but they have more than one type of Stealth

Freerider Pros and Impact are Stealth S1 and the soles are a bit stiffer

Coated leather upper

Non-marking Stealth® rubber outsole

This explains the different rubbers

bear in mind that all these discount retailers have stuff manufactured to spec for them just so they can sell them cheap - most of the big outdoor brands do it, including "quality" brands like Bergaus & Rab.
Not saying that's the case here - can't be arsed to look into it - but you might just be getting exactly what you're paying for, if this is a SD "exclusive" product rather than the real, premium version.

EDIT: that RRP is complete bollox too, it's more than the proper MTB version on the Adidas site!! 🤣

Link to the shoe on the adidas site. Looks the same, worth the punt.

It's £10 less on the SD site versus Adidas own site

Mine too arrived .for me the sizing is spot on.my advice wear them in for a bit as on a quick ten mile ride tonight the tongue is stuff and digs in and the same with the heal so I'll walk break them in a bit before I ride in them again which usually softens them up .. cheers for the PSA

Yep my son is well pleased with them. I'm gutted they didn't go up to 8 1/2, I'd have squeezed my size 9's in for that price!

Just looking at these, are they covered by the free returns?

I had a pair of these thinking they're perfect for riding and Biergarten visits.

The cuff around the heel is a hard/grippy faux leather and caused blisters.

This is definitely not the case with Rab. I know that for a fact.

As alpin says above they really aren't very comfortable....I've done a couple of rides with them and they are very uncomfortable so I've been trying to break them in wearing them as daily shoes but a week later and there still agony .heal feels like it's made of steel .
not like five tens I've tried in the past .
Gone back to my northwave clan shoes for biking and it's absolutely bliss .

Sports direct are utter trash. I wouldn’t trust any brand sold by them as it’s likely they’ll be budget versions of the same shoe elsewhere.
I’d seriously wonder about the mindset of manufacturers allowing their products to be sold through them, instantly devalues them in my eyes.
