It's a gamble without loss of stake; Halfords "honoured" the orders placed against their code ****-up a few months back (if pictures of multiple inner tubes & other swag are to be believed).

It has ended. I just checked my paypal, last night the status of payment was pending. This morning it says completed. So it looks like they have taken the money. This could just mean I now have to chase a refund when they cancel the order!

Got my first order in and had some £45 bibs for £8. Was in the middle of putting together a second "chancers" order for some other bits but its expired... Ah well.
They took £60 odd off me in store the other day so I think they'll be OK with this minor dent in the margins...

I had an order in teh basket for a tent last night before the site crashed. They emailed me this morning and said I could still proceed so I did. £110 hiking tent reduced to £99 and the £40 off. Result.
Well the code was "cashforkids40" but was it actually related to charity?
If it was I'd happily cancel the sale or make a donation to ease my conscious...
Got a load of stuff, Mule, waterproof jacket, cycling shorts, walking boots, gear cables, mtb shorts.

My guess would be it is a code sent to recipients of the charity. Probably cut short so little johnny can't go camping making his hard up dad feel really bad.
