I seem to have got to a point in my riding where I'm comfortable doing my usual stuff but bottling it trying anything bigger or more challenging. So I've kind of reached a plateau so to speak.

I look at some drops/jumps and know that I could probably do them, but for some reason I'm talking myself out of anything that may go pear shaped recently.

Any advice other than MTFU?

As a side note, I'm contracting and don't get sick pay and I'm wondering if this is holding me back?

I'm not convinced by skill courses,or the "how to" instructionals in the mags. You ride 'em,or bottle 'em. I'm prone to bottling certain stuff, but I've got nowt to prove and I'm self-employed. Doesn't stop me from enjoying riding my bike.
