Not sure what they ride like but they look the sh1t! Would love one myself but they do seem a bit similar to your trans am

If i had one, i wouldn't care how it rides, i'd just sit staring at it with a slight dopey doe eyed look on my face.

(Which incidentally is exactly how i'm going to look when Keira Knightley finally accepts one of my many offers of a dinner date........ 😉

Shan MV owner.
It climbs ok its no xc rocket but plenty of traction to be found.I did find it felt draggy on the flats but a quick tyre change soon remedied that. I was running Hans Dampf front and rear and now run a Trail King rear. Point it downhill or through singletrack it flies and inspires confidence.
I'm 5'9" and riding a medium and fits me spot on.
Regards build weight mine is around the 27-28 lb mark, 1x10, flow wheels,RS Pikes(150) and a reverb fitted. As for BB issues if you referring to the lifespan of the Privee's own bb I have not ridden it long enough to have an opinion. However it does have a 2 year warranty and is easy to pop the bearings out and regrease. When it does fail i shall throw a hope press fit BB at it.
Price wise I swapped a lot of components over from a ragley ti so i can't help really but I would guess with some wise speccing £2000

I can't think about those bikes as they make me go all funny when I do.

Gulf colour one here, as above not quick up hill or on the flats but point it down and it flys, handles great through the twisty stuff corners on open flat corners and is just generally a great hard tail frame. As a serial frame changer I've gotta say this ones been with me for a year and I've no intentions of selling it on.
Build wise Xl frame shimano zee/xt, dt wiss wheels/maxxis tyres, bos deville forks and fox doss dropper post comes in about 30.5lb.
Size wise med/lrg gotta friend who's 5.9 and on a medium but recons he could of gone for a lrg with short stem combo.
Don't do the bottom bracket I've found it to be crap re greasing it about once a month.
Now your only issue is if you can decide if you want it before the last medium is sold in the uk.

I'm 5'10 and ride a large on a short stem, the geo matches well with my medium SB66 (also short stem, so,uh. Yeti long top tubes innit). I love it, such a beautiful bike. Got a BB from those Enduro fork seal bods in the US rather than PP's own, and it's been just fine 18 months or so later.

My only slight annoyance is I specced it 1x10 on a 34t chainring as a fitter man, injury and a baby has seen me regret that toward the end of the last few rides. This was just before narrow-wide was happening so I might take the chance to wuss down a few teeth and lose the chainguide while I'm at it.

If I was buying now, I'd have to be wondering about the inevitable 650b version coming out at some point.

Do you really think that anyone who's spunked their cash on on, without test ride or fondle or fit, would ever admit that it was a bit shit? *

* If it is a bit shit, that is. Never tried one, myself.

People do rarely rate their own buys as shit it's true. But I've had the thing well over a year. I'd have sold it if I didn't enjoy riding it, as the colours were a limited edition it might even get a reasonable price still. Not gonna!

Some things that are ace about it:

1. It's an unbelievably solid and fast DH HT frame

Some things that are a bit shit about it

1. mine has Lyriks, and most of the moving bits are XTR but it's still pretty porky about 29lbs
2. breath heavy on it and the paint will chip off
3. It's pretty sluggish on the flat

Things that are a bit mleh about it

1. the BB is OK actually, they're easy to fit, mines lasted well over a year, and they're not that expensive to buy compared to any other BB solution
2. headset is OK, comes loose occasionally.

I'm 5,10" ride a large with short stem, it fits just about perfectly. Honestly despite all the stuff up there, it's an "...out of my cold dead hand" sort of bike. 😆 Buy one if only to see what all the fuss is about.
