I didn't ride through this section near Dunham Massey in Cheshire, instead, I used a farmers gate to bypass it.
This section is often wet with pooled water than comes up to the BB anyway. Consequently, I was fairly sure it would be up the axle height and I didn't want saturated footwear.

I guess it would look a lot worse today . . . if you could get anywhere near it, given the widespread flooding in Cheshire and South Manchester . . .
