The prettiest bike I have seen recently was at Look Mum No Hands last week. It was a Moulton in peppermint green and was a very beautiful little thing.

NOT the prettiest, but I've always thought this looked fantastic. Would be better with Spin 3 spoke wheels.

beg your pardon - the Cinelli is very tidy. Always produced pretty bikes.

Can't argue with the Sintesi Bazooka though. Especially in Orange, with a yellow stem. Absolutely gorgeous those things. I used to take the catalogue into the downstairs loo.

godihatehills has a point, that is a very pretty bike, spoiled by the stupid lacing of the spokes though...

I bet you own an orange or some other ugly mass produced gop or even worse a bike with big springs in it, like a bed mattress on wheels e.g. a turner or similar pogostickiness 😉

Again not sure if pretty is the adjective, but I do like the look of a lot of downhill bikes even though I'm a weight weenie myself.

fontmoss' (I think that's the guy) Gary Fisher singlespeed. It looks so clean, or as bmxers would say "dialled".

That Pure Blood above looks great as well.

Some of the DH bikes look great, the red and white 951 looks fast standing still - but you can not call a DH bike 'pretty'! Some of the road ones above are starting to look pretty - everyone will have their own views but will need to be simple so prob a SS and a road bike, in steel with stunning (pretty) metal work / lugs etc .....

I'm not into singlespeeds, or drop bars, but I've had the following picture as my wallpaper on my laptop for over 2 years now... Simply cos I think it's the best looking bike I've ever seen...

[img] [/img]

Particularly like the Ducati 1198R also though, especially liking this VERY expensive customised version right now...

I like this for the simplicity and stealthiness:

[img] [/img]

This for the 'that looks fast standing still' thing:

And this because it achieves very little, it's stupidly expensive, and rather weighty, but just looks awesome!

threefish and mboy have got it spot on I think. Something that is pure and timeless enough looking that it is just a universal symbol that says "bicycle".
