Kona Coiler may be a great bike.... but it ain't pretty. and neither is that ellsworth.

beg your pardon - the Cinelli is very tidy. Always produced pretty bikes.

Can't argue with the Sintesi Bazooka though. Especially in Orange, with a yellow stem. Absolutely gorgeous those things. I used to take the catalogue into the downstairs loo.

agree with didmatt, the 951 is lovely
but those wheels are a bit too red

Some of the DH bikes look great, the red and white 951 looks fast standing still - but you can not call a DH bike 'pretty'! Some of the road ones above are starting to look pretty - everyone will have their own views but will need to be simple so prob a SS and a road bike, in steel with stunning (pretty) metal work / lugs etc .....

With the exception of Houns, njee20 and mboy (the first pic), none of you have any taste whatsoever.

threefish and mboy have got it spot on I think. Something that is pure and timeless enough looking that it is just a universal symbol that says "bicycle".
