I've just about had enough of these buggers .My other bikes got shraeders which i fill with Slime .No probs with punctures .Had a puncture (on other bike ) on Thursday and 2 today .So before i buy a drill bit and round file , i've been told you can get something to put Slime in Prestas .Surely not possible ?Looking at Joe's No Flats and they mention Joes Prestas .So whats that then ?
I think it depends on what tubes you're using - the Continental tubes (these) I use allow you to take the top of the valve off with a spoke key, opening it up for squirting slime or latex in.
YMMV
schwalbe preta tubes have removable cores so you can put slime/latex in
ok then so i take it the core just unscrews right out ?then you need a syringe or such like for inserting the gunge ?
yep you got it
schwalbe aren't the only ones, maybe kendas too not sure how many others
Roland just tried going tubeless which seems quite sucessfull
Have a look

The Joes "No Flats" kit comes with core-removable valves.
Or you could just buy the ready filled slime presta tubes?
Cheers Andy have to take a look at that .
AFAIK I don't think the Kenda tubes have removable cores.
I wanted to do this exact same thing and my standard Kenda presta tubes seemed to be unremovable (they were quite old tubes so not sure if they have removable cores now...).
I bought a couple of Schwalbes instead. I just used pliers to unscrew the core, squirted in the slime, put core back. Worked fine.
